My Highlight In Room 8 AKA Killeen Class

Hello blog world,

Today with another blog post. Today is about... wait, its yesterdays blog post. I and some people from my class was in room 8 it's an year 5 class. We had to go because of our teacher going with the kids who was going to rugby tournaments. The kids with me and I did some tasks. My highlight was making an invention that can pick up fruits from 1 meter away. We got rubber bands, tons of paper,  some cut cut things (the name I forgot how to spell), string, tape and 3 buddy's. Me and my group though of many ideas but we weren't sure with those ideas until 1 person though of making an shovel out of paper. We first made the handle we made it longer and longer until is got about 1 meter long. We tried it but it just got bendy. It got bendy because of so much air in the handle. Because of that we had to use more paper and tight up the handle. That was finished, after that we made the bottom of the shovel. We only used 1 piece of paper because we did not have a lot of papers. After than that we had a time where try to pick up some balls with our inventions. I saw many people try to pick it up with different ideas. They all looked cool and nice. When we went one person from our team got the invention and tried. We could pick up the ball but the ball went of the shovel top. That's my highlight of yesterday.

N.E.D Show (SPOILER)

Hello, Blog World.

Here again with another post. Today we had a event called The Ned Show. It was a show were you can become a champion. The person (Chaning) who showed us what Ned meant and how to use the yo-yo. It was pretty fun looking at her doing some tricks while telling us a story. The story was about when doing something that wrong and you getting in a wrong situation. This N.E.D thing meant... N is for never give up, E is for Encourage others and D is for do your best. The tricks she did looked hard. Here are some photos.

Week 8 Scott Class Flag

This week we are learning about if we change the New Zealand flag or not.Our classes are different because it needs a good name so we made class's named after famous artists .Our class is special because it has a famous artist named Ian Scott.I used the star to represent the southern cross and the weaving is from Ian Scott.     

The Field Trip

Today we had a guest come to our class It was a google expedition program he gave us about 28 glasses to see through is was cool we get to see so many thing like the eye of England and many more.

Te Reo Māori Conversation

WALT have a conversation in te reo Māori.




In Flox Class we were learning how to have a conversation in te reo Māori.We Used IMovie to record our conversation.Our movies were set all around HayPark School. If you know HayPark school you may try to find where we set our IMovie.

Hi this Sir Peter Blake he is a famous sailor and there is a center name after him.

The best day ever!!!

Yesterday there was netball Teachers VS Netball team and the teachers won!

Then after lunch time they they went to the hall the go to Mrs Aikman last assemble.

After school same people went in the bus and went to Eden Park.

 In Eden Park they saw the closets and the excersize machines with the bathtub. Then they went to a surprise where there was heaps of people and they had bikes.

Amazing trip to MERC!!!

Today we went to MERC where we will be going to camp and we saw and did fun thing like playing and going around the camp. We saw the bunk bed where were  will be sleeping.We saw the chef and had a photo and we saw the boats where we will be sailing. We saw the bow and I though that we will be robin hood.
