Swimming Diary Session 2

Splash!, Splash!, In the water. "What are already recording. Anyways hi there people. I am right now in the swimming pool. Oh we have to get kicking now. Splash!, Splash!, Wow that was a bit hard kicking so much". I learnt how to stroke and more things. It was pretty fun. Swimming 2nd week was pretty fun.

Thump!, Thump!, I walk at the start." Oh hey, did not see you there. I just went in cameron pools. I am going with my class. It fells so hot in here. Wait up let me just get changed."

"Aaa, fells so nice. We now going in lets go" Stop wait forgot to tell you how I got in so what I did was I went in facing the pool than I turned around and went in.

I was doing some rounds in the group 2 the second highest group. Than this teacher came and tested us, I ended up in group one the basic one.

At the end we had to clap and go down the rope.

AS ToolKits Reflection

Hello blog world, Two days ago we had an toolkits day. If you do not know what tookits are they are a time when people from other school come and go in sessions to learn new things. I was in toolkits we had it at our school. I went to making music that was fun. We could make music using websites. After that we had a 15 minutes break. Than we went to a session called thinker cad that was fun. After that it me and my group time to do the presentation that was fun. The thing that could get better in my presentation could be have more advanced presentation and every buddy's chrome book check so that have it. The thing that would make the toolkits better is to have more schools come in.

My Highlight In Room 8 AKA Killeen Class

Today with another blog post. Today is about... wait, its yesterdays blog post. I and some people from my class was in room 8 it's an year 5 class. We had to go because of our teacher going with the kids who was going to rugby tournaments. The kids with me and I did some tasks. My highlight was making an invention that can pick up fruits from 1 meter away. We got rubber bands, tons of paper,  some cut cut things (the name I forgot how to spell), string, tape and 3 buddy's. Me and my group though of many ideas but we weren't sure with those ideas until 1 person though of making an shovel out of paper. We first made the handle we made it longer and longer until is got about 1 meter long. We tried it but it just got bendy. It got bendy because of so much air in the handle. Because of that we had to use more paper and tight up the handle. That was finished, after that we made the bottom of the shovel. We only used 1 piece of paper because we did not have a lot of papers. After than that we had a time where try to pick up some balls with our inventions. I saw many people try to pick it up with different ideas. They all looked cool and nice. When we went one person from our team got the invention and tried. We could pick up the ball but the ball went of the shovel top. That's my highlight of yesterday.

Learning Conversation

two days ago we had something called learning conversations. Learning conversations is a conversation that we have with our parents and teachers. It is about our learning and what we got. On the day I went it was fun I got to see some of my friends. Me and my dad went in and I had to run the presentation and most of the talking. If you were curious than you can see my presentation.

Back again with another blog post this time with an visitor coming and visiting us. He was... The and only Andrew Nickolsen. He is a famous Olympian (Winter one). He was in the Olympics 3 times. He won 2 gold. Today he come to our school to tell us about his Olympics. He had another story that was him breaking the world record for the fasted cycling around the world. He told us a bit of his child hood. He told us about is friends and his brother. It fun we than had a Q&A time him in our class. Finally we had a quick quiz about the Olympics. I got 3/10.
