NS Information Report writing Wk 7

We are learning to write an information report about a topic related to space.

By Friday 5 June you need to have written and edited your information report on a topic related to space so that it is ready to be published.

Here are some ideas to write

You need to attend one workshop with the teacher on an area that you feel you need help with for your writing. Here is the timetable where you will make your bookings. There is space for seven people in each workshop so book in quickly to make sure there is space!

  • Check that I am writing in the present tense (for example: the sun is a ball of fire; the stars are shooting through the sky)

  • Use a range of punctuation correctly.    (.,?!)

  • Identify and correct most spelling errors.

  • Improve my writing so that it is more enjoyable/informative for the reader.

Introduction
Have you ever wondered of a black hole that is famous? if so the Cygnus X-1 information report is for you!

Orbit
The Cygnus X-1 orbits a supergiant star the star is 25 to 30 times bigger than the sun. It has been found in 1972 by Tom Bolton.

Large
Cygnus X-1 is a black hole in it hole it is 7 to 15 sun’s large.The black hole get gases from the supergiant star and the gases feed the Cygnus X-1.

location
The Cygnus X-1 is located at sagittarius arm of the milky way.

The star group it is in is Cygnus, the swan. It orgin of it’s name is First X-ray source found in Cygnus.The is no light in a black hole so a supergiant star give heaps of light so anything can see.

Blackhole
A black hole like Cygnus X-1 can crush heaps of sun’s.The sizes of the black hole are three different one is normal-size star, stellar-mass black hole and Supermassive black hole.

Falling into a black hole
Earth could orbit a black hole beyond at the event horizon.Get a bit closer and gravity from earth’s one side is going to be stretched and will be ripped apart.

Dimeter
The diameter from the black hole to the supergiant star is 20 to 40 miles (30 to 60 km).
